Commonly grown indoors from a bulb, amaryllis, known officially as Hippeastrum, is a hugely popular houseplant to enjoy during the festive season thanks to its seasonal, elegant and large headed blooms. Amaryllis ‘Winter Blush’ has magnificent white petals that have a blush of pink, that looks as though it has been painted on and makes a wonderful addition to seasonal displays around the home.

Easy and reliable to grow, this premium indoor growing kit is perfect for adding some colour to your home throughout the winter months. As it is presented in a delightful gift box, it also makes a wonderful living gift that can be enjoyed year after year.

To grow, simply place the included compost pellet in a mixing container and add 350ml of lukewarm water, allowing it to expand for thirty minutes to one hour. Mix the compost well before use. Half fill the container provided, place the bulb in the pot and fill around it, leaving a third of the bulb showing.

‘Winter Blush’ will do best when left in a warm, light position. The flowers will appear approximately 6 -10 weeks after they are planted. You may need to support the stem as it grows and as the flowers bloom. To lengthen the flowering time, once the flowers start to show, move the pot to a cooler position.
