Easily grown indoors from a bulb, amaryllis, also known as Hippeastrum, is a widely popular houseplant to enjoy during the festive season. With everything you need to grow beautiful, large trumpet-shaped sparkling-white blooms, on top of a tall and elegant stem. This gift pack is perfect as a convenient way to grow your own magnificent blooms to enjoy around your home or it makes a wonderful living gift that can be enjoyed year after year.

To grow, simply place the included compost pellet in a mixing container and add 350ml of lukewarm water, allowing it to expand for thirty minutes to one hour. Mix the compost well before use. Half fill the container provided, place the bulb in the pot and fill around it, leaving a third of the bulb showing.

‘Snow Angel’ will thrive when left in a warm, light position. Flowers can appear in time for Christmas, blooming approximately 6 – 10 weeks after they are planted. You may need to support the stem as it grows and as the flowers bloom. To lengthen the flowering time, once the flowers start to show, move the pot to a cooler position.
