Adults Felt Making with Heidi Street-Ward

Come and spend a couple of hours getting creative with the Adults Felt Making Workshop with Heidi Street-Ward. This workshop is available on Tuesday 26th March at 8:30am – 10:30am or from 2pm – 4pm, there will be a short break in the middle for a hot drink and cake.

It takes place in the private Vellum room, located in The Garden Restaurant. Learn how to make your own handmade, spring inspired felt picture using an array of colourful sheep’s wool, all whist being helped and guided through it by artist Heidi Street-Ward.

You will be shown how to use wool carders to mix a range of colourful merino wool tops and other natural fibres to create patterns and textures within your decorative felt picture. You will also have the option to add extra decorative embroidery and stitching when you get home. A fantastic workshop for beginners or people with some felting knowledge.

Please note that soap and washing up liquid will be used in the workshop.
