Zantedeschia ‘Calla Simple Elegance’ (3 bulbs)

Also known as ‘calla lilies’, Zantedeschia such as ‘Calla Simple Elegance’ are becoming increasingly popular as a houseplant as well as a garden and patio plant. Flowering from early to late summer, they will grow huge and exotic waxy flowers in a mix of light pink and dark purple, combining beautifully for a contrast of light and dark together.

Calla lilies can be grown in sunny, sheltered border positions in most British gardens. They will also make for excellent pot plants, blooming for weeks.

When planting outdoors plant in a position of full sun or partial shade. When planting indoors place in direct sunlight. Plant into rich soil with a liberal supply of humus. When planting in pots use rich potting compost.

Water indoor pots sparingly until growth starts. Plants in open ground or in outdoor containers must be lifted before the first frosts and placed in peat or vermiculite for the winter.
