Vitax Hydrangea Colourant (500g)

Vitax Hydrangea Colourant is the perfect product if you want to keep or even turn your Hydrangeas Blue.

Hydrangeas grown where iron or aluminium salts are present have a tendency to produce blue flowers. If you have pink flowering Hydrangeas and want them to turn blue then Vitax Hydrangea Colourant can yield great results.

Pale pink varieties will tend to get the best results with darker pink flowers turning to mauve or blue.

Acidic soil will yield the best results, but if you don’t have this you can double the proportions of Hydrangea Colourant.

After establishment of plants dilute the colourant as directed and water weekly during the growing season.

Vitax Hydrangea Colourant won’t feed your plants it will simply cause the flowers to change colour, so you might want to also use a general purpose plant food or Vitax Hydrangea Feed for the ultimate blooms.
