• A protective cover is not essential, but Bramblecrest advise the use of a protective cover to keep garden furniture looking its best
• The steel poles are powder coated to enhance protection against exposure to the elements
• Bramblecrest strongly advise against dragging the cocoon over uneven surfaces, such as patios, graveled areas or the garden, as this can scratch the paintwork making the frame susceptible to rust
• Caution is advised when moving cocoons and we recommend that they are lifted rather than dragged
• Cushions can be covered in the summer months provided they are kept well ventilated and a weekly visual check against mould, damp and animal damage is carried out
• During prolonged periods of non-use, and in the winter months it is advised that all cushions are stored inside in a warm, safe and dry environment
• Cushion storage boxes are useful for overnight storage during summer months
• Clean rattan using a non-abrasive sponge and lukewarm detergent-free soapy water
• Cushion covers can be hand washed up to 30 degrees and spillages should be wiped up as soon as possible
