Mr Fothergill’s Chard Rhubarb Chard (Vulcan) Seeds

Mr. Fothergill’s Chard Rhubarb Chard (Vulcan) Seeds are an excellent source of vitamin C and are very easy to grow.

These seeds produce delicious, bright red stems and succulent, lush green leaves that can be boiled, steamed or sautéed for a side dish or used raw in salads.

These leaves can be cooled like spinach leaves however they are also decorative enough to grow in pots and flower borders.

• Pack Contents: Approximately 125 seeds
• When to sow: April to July
• Where to sow: Outdoors in well drained soil
• How to sow: Sow thinly where they are to crop, 2.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Allow 40cm between rows
• Care: Water well until plants are established. Pick a few leaves and stems at a time, without stripping the plants, allowing the plants to continue growing.
• When to harvest: July to November
