Ligustrum jonandrum 80cm 1/4 Standard privet is a pretty medium sized semi-evergreen shrub from Italy.

This slow growing shrub has eye-catching topiary with a round lollipop shape on a 50cm stem and has small leaves densely grown in a ball shape head (30-35cm). Bears dense panicles of white flowers with violet anthers.

It’s the perfect statement plant for your outdoor space and will look great in pairs at the entrance to your home, mixed into borders or standalone on a patio. It will be sure to add interest to any garden.

We recommend trimming the head to maintain shape throughout the growing season (late spring and early summer) and always spread mulch at the base of the plant in autumn.

Prefers full sun or partial shade and feed and water regularly, especially if kept in a container. A general purpose fertiliser will work well for this shrub.
