Helleborus ‘HGC Maestro’ Snow Rose (2-Litre Pot)

Helleborus ‘HGC Maestro’ is part of the premium quality Helleborus Gold Collection (HGC) and is a highly floriferous variety of Snow Rose which blooms from December onwards. With its wealth of saucer-shaped white and dusky pink blossoms, the wonderful combination of colour on the petals creates a beautiful display to admire throughout the winter months, into spring.

This master of flowering not only has masses of wonderful flowers, but beautiful green healthy foliage with a delicate marbled effect. This frames and enhances the beauty of the blooms and acts as a foil to other flowering companion plants during the summer months.

Snow Rose Hellebores have all the robust reliability to heavy ice and snow that you would expect from a Helleborus Gold Collection hellebore but with the addition benefit of being able to thrive in full sun. So, you can watch the magnificent ‘Maestro’ flourish in an array of positions in your outdoor space.

To get the best display of blooms, plant your Hellebore in a hole at least double the size of the root ball. Immerse the potted root ball in a bucket of water before planting and wait for the bubbles to stop rising to the surface. Then loosen the soil around the hole and position the Hellebore, lightly covering it with soil. Once planted create a small circular ridge in the soil around the blooms to aid water retention. Ensure that your Hellebore doesn’t dry out, but don’t over water it either. You will then enjoy this floral delight that returns year after year and lasts for decades.
