Acer Platanoides Crimson King (12 litre pot)

Acer platanoides ‘Crimson King’ is a well known Norway Maple and a clear favourite for it’s spectacular foliage.

Broad, palmate, crimson and purple leaves bring a mass of glorious and stunning colour to any garden. It has been awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit in recognition of its reliability and performance.

Native to central and eastern Europe as well as parts of Asia, this cultivar has grey-brown bark. In spring, a yellow-red blossom forms.

This Norway Maple is round headed in shape and reaches a mature height of 8m (26ft). It is suitable for any spot in the garden, either in full sun or partial shade, and will do well in any well drained, fertile soil.
