Crataegus laevigata ‘Crimson Cloud’ is wonderfully wildlife-friendly tree.

Native to Britain, this Hawthorn brings a glorious show of red and white flowers in spring, borne in large clusters. These open flowers are great for attracting bees and other pollinators into your garden.

After flowering a show of delicate, scarlet berries form and provide an excellent food source for attracting birds too. As a native species, it is fully hardy and suited to the climate and conditions found in Britain. Planting a Crataegus in your garden will support the local ecosystem and natural wildlife.

Grow your Crataegus in a sunny spot in fertile, well drained soil. It is relatively slow growing and makes an ideal addition to any sized garden.
