Acer Pseudo. Brilliantissimum (12 litre pot)

Acer pseudoplatanus ‘Brilliantissimum’ is a brightly coloured Sycamore tree.

In spring, wide, palmate leaves open to a salmon-pink hue before turning yellow-green, green, then falling. Native to central and eastern Europe, this tree has grey-brown bark and some flowers are produced. It’s short size makes it ideal for small gardens too.

This Sycamore is round headed in shape with branches arcing outwards to form a globe-like structure. It reaches a mature height of 4m (13ft) and is suitable for any spot in the garden.

Plant this Sycamore either in full sun or partial shade and it will do well in any well drained, fertile soil.
