Wildlife World Igloo Hedgehog Home

The Wildlife World Igloo Hedgehog Home is a wicker shelter for hedgehogs and other small mammals.

Perfect as a safe retreat for small nocturnal creatures and a place for them to stay safe whilst you garden.

Featuring a circular coated metal frame covered with water-proof roof felt. The Igloo Home is finished with a natural looking brush wood and bands of rattan.

Due to the natural materials used in this product, the appearance and precise size may vary.

Easy to use and install. Simply choose a location away from natural predators and family pets. You can help by piling leaves or foliage around the house to further camouflage it.

According to Wildlife Word, rattan or natural brushwood style hedgehog houses with an open bottom are not suitable for Hedgehog Rescue Centres. Hedgehog Rescue Centres should use wooden Hedgehog Houses so that the roof can be opened to check on or inspect recuperating hedgehogs.

Wildlife World recommend only checking the Igloo Hedgehog House annually and early summer is best. Always make sure there is enough clearance for hedgehogs to enter and exit.

This is a lovely addition to any garden and will provide a hedgehog family with a safe place to nest, rest or hibernate.
