Wildlife World Dovecote Nest Box

The Wildlife World Dovecote Nest Box is a traditional looking decorative bird nest box for small garden birds and comes with a small hole to prevent larger birds from entering.

Perfect as a stylish roost or nest for wild birds such as blue tits and with a flat back it fits neatly against a garden wall, fence or tree.

Crafted with handmade timber shingles, sustainable timber and topped with a white finial, this eye-catching dovecote creates the perfect feature for any outdoor space. To finish the dovecote, bands of black steel fit around the water-based white paint finish on the wooden dovecote.

Easy to install, this dovecote has a keyhole slot for hanging and comes with a handy opening back to make the annual clean a breeze.

Low maintenance, but Wildlife World do recommend painting it annually to maintain its fresh water-based paint look. Alternatively, let it age naturally.

To locate the dovecote, choose a sheltered location out of prevailing winds and facing a North, North-East direction, at least 1.5m – 2m above the ground. Also, choose somewhere away from natural predators and pet cats.
