Tulip ‘Verandi’ is a stunning tulip variety that produces brilliant glowing deep red petals adorned with a thin edge of yellow that sits atop a sturdy green stem. The flowers are cup-shaped and tulip-shaped, and they measure up to 4 inches in diameter. The stems grow to be about 45cm/18″ tall, making them a good choice for garden borders, patio containers, or as part of a cut flower display.
They prefer full sun and well-drained soil. To plant tulip bulbs, dig a hole that is twice as deep as the bulb is tall. Place the bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing up, and then backfill the hole with soil. Water the bulbs well, and then keep the soil moist until the flowers emerge.
