To ensure an even distribution of the seeds, the mix also includes vermiculite, a naturally occurring mineral, that acts as a ‘carrier’ when scattering them across your garden and encourages strong and healthy seedling growth.

Garden notes

• Before sowing shake well to ensure the seeds are well mixed
• Shaker mixes perform best in sunny or lightly shaded areas
• Grows in any type of soil as long as it is well drained
• Make sure the ground is ready for sowing by clearing weeds and stones
• Water the ground immediately after sowing and continue to water well until seeds are established
• To maintain your flowers remove them as they fade to encourage fresh growth and remove weeds.
