The MSA 220 C-B Cordless Chainsaw is STIHL’s most powerful rechargeable cordless chainsaw, with 20% more cutting power than the 3/8 inch P-PS and a 10% increase in the number of cuts per battery charge.

A lightweight, efficient and compact battery powered chainsaw which is suitable for a variety of tasks, the MSA 220 C-B makes light work of felling, snedding, processing timber and tasks around the garden such as firewood sawing, garden maintenance and landscaping.

With all the advantages of electric power, such as being emissions free, having incredibly quiet operation, minimal vibrations, plus no servicing costs, the MSA 220 C-B also has a handy fill level feature on the chain oil so you shouldn’t run dry.

Superbly balanced, with outstanding handling and convenience, STIHL’s MSA-220 C-B features an ergonomic design with a soft grips for comfort and improved control in the hand.

Safety is important with a good quality chainsaw, and STIHL’s saw requires two handed operation and has bumper spikes for safe and sturdy guidance as it accurately powers through wood. The Quickstop Super Chain Brake stops the chain running when either the front hand guard is switched on or when you release the rear handle. Being fully waterproof means this saw can be operated in all weathers, minimising downtime.

The secret of this chainsaw’s high performance cutting power comes from the 35cm bar with a full chisel 3/8 inch PS3 Pro saw chain. Another handy feature is that both the chain can be tensioned and the oil can be filled without using a tool, saving you hassle hunting around for it when you’re out and about working with the saw.

This chainsaw is sold without a battery or charger (sold separately) and is compatible with STIHL’s PRO series AP batteries such as the AP 200 or AP 300 S. An AP 300 S battery will provide up to 40 minutes of runtime on a single charge.

For maintenance, we recommend using STIHL’s Multi-functional Bio Oil and Superclean Resin Solvent to protect your blade against rust or resin and to help lubricate and loosen stuck parts or dirt.
