The STIHL MSA 200 C-B Cordless Chainsaw (shell only) is a high-performance, battery-powered chainsaw that is ideal for a range of tasks including cutting firewood, clearing up around the garden, hedge laying and even woodworking.

This chainsaw is sold without a battery or charger (sold separately).

Full of impressive features, MSA 200 C-B is emission-free and very quiet, removing the need to wear ear defenders. It is also IPX4 rated, meaning it’s water resistant and can be used in all weather, thus minimising downtime.

Also featuring STIHL’s Quick Chain Tensioning that allows you to tighten the chain easily without any tools, as well as the Ematic chain lubrication system which dramatically improves oil efficiency.

Another innovation is the Quickstop Super Chain Brake which stops the chain running when either the front hand guard is switched on or when you release the rear handle.

For maintenance, we recommend using STIHL’s Multi-functional Bio Oil and Superclean Resin Solvent to protect your blade against rust or resin and to help lubricate and loosen stuck parts or dirt.

FAQ: Which batteries and chargers can I use with this chainsaw?

This vacuum chainsaw works with batteries from STIHL’s Pro Series AP Batteries and chargers from the AL range.

Working time with the recommended STIHL AP 300 S Battery is up to 50 minutes, with the AP 100 Battery it is up to 18 minutes and with the AP200 Battery it is up to 35 minutes. With the AR 3000 L Backpack Battery, working time is up to 260 minutes.
