STIHL MSA 160 C-B Cordless Chainsaw

The STIHL MSA 160 C-B Cordless Chainsaw (shell only) is a superbly balanced, lightweight and powerful chainsaw that is ideal for cutting up firewood or heavy gardening.

This chainsaw is sold without a battery or charger (sold separately) and is compatible with STIHL’s PRO series AP batteries such as the AP 200 or AP 300. An AP 300 battery will provide up to 50 minutes of runtime.

Packed full of impressive features, this chainsaw is incredibly quiet and emission-free. The 30cm guide bar can be used to saw easily through branches and small trees with a diameter up to 20cm.

It also features STIHL’s Quick Chain Tensioning that allows you to tighten the chain easily without any tools as well as the Ematic chain lubrication system which dramatically improves oil efficiency.

Another innovative feature is the Quickstop Super Chain Brake which stops the chain running when either the front hand guard is switched on or when you release the rear handle.

For maintenance, we recommend using STIHL’s Multi-functional Bio Oil and Superclean Resin Solvent to protect your blade against rust or resin and to help lubricate and loosen stuck parts or dirt.
