Lilium ‘Orange Marmalade’ (2 bulbs)

Lilium ‘Orange Marmalade’ is a showy and distinct variety of martagon lily that will grow up to 30 blooms on each stem of bright orange, dainty, star-shaped flowers.

With their heavily reflexed petals and downward facing flowers, these lilies will be the star of any garden with their bold colour and plentiful blooms.

Reaching a height of around 80cm/32″, these lilies will flower in July for an early summer display.

‘Orange Marmalade’ is an excellent naturaliser that will excel when planted between shrubs or in light woodland conditions. These bulbs will also provide excellent contrast against other summer flowering bulbs making them an ideal border plant. Alternatively they can be used as cut flowers or for wild gardens and containers.

Lilies like a well drained soil with a healthy supply of humus such as leaf mould or compost. Lilies like sun or partial shade with their feet in the shade and their heads in the sun, but make sure to avoid hot dry situations such as along a south facing wall.

Plant the bulbs 15cm/6″ deep and 15cm/6″ apart. When planting in pots, plant deeply and keep well watered.
