This barbecue includes a rolling cast iron cart on wheels with space for storage, side shelves, a heat deflector system, tools, a built in heat-thermometer and a slide-out ash drawer which provides easy access for cleaning.

The Big Joe III includes the revolutionary SlōRoller Hyperbolic Smoke Chamber. The first of its kind, the SlōRoller leverages Harvard science that transforms a Kamado Joe into one of the world’s most optimal smokers. Harnessing the power of cyclonic airflow technology to control heat and smoke, the SlōRoller insert is designed to perfect the taste and texture of food on low-and-slow cooks up to 260°C. By distributing smoke and heat in rolling, recirculating waves, the SlōRoller surrounds food in clouds of delicious smoke while evenly distributing heat—resulting in enhanced flavor and significantly reduced hot spots. The SlōRoller insert is easily swapped out for the original heat deflector plates or removed for searing and grilling at higher temperatures.
The grill also features a thick-walled, heat-resistant shell that locks in smoke and moisture at any temperature for that classic smoky barbecue taste. The Divide & Conquer Flexible Cooking System transforms the humble grill grate into the most powerful cooking tool in your arsenal. The revolutionary multi-level, half-moon design frees you to cook different foods in different styles at different temperatures—all at the same time.
Despite the grill dome’s heft, the Patented Air Lift Hinge reduces dome weight by 96%, so it can be lifted with a single finger giving the most comfortable grilling experience there is.
