Johnsons Cucumber Emilie F1 Seeds

Johnsons Cucumber Emilie F1 Seeds are a prolific, ‘all female’* variety with crisp, smooth-skinned cues approx. 20cm (8in) long, perfect for salads, garnishes and healthy snacks.

These seeds are resistant to many diseases including cucumber mosaic virus and tolerant to powdery mildew.

Occasionally male flowers (those without a swelling behind the flower) may form, especially if plants become stressed. These should be removed as pollinated female flowers produce bitter fruits.

• Pack Contents: Approximately 6 seeds
• When to sow: February to May
• Where to sow: In 7.5cm pots of seed compost
• How to sow: Sow singly into a pot edgeways and then cover with 1.5cm of compost. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid.
• Care: Remove cover when seedlings appear. After 3-4 leaves have formed transplant 45cm apart in the greenhouse in beds, grow bags or large pots. Train up wires and remove growing point at roof level
