The Freesia Single ‘yellow’ bulbs provide funnel-shaped flowers that appear above arching wiry green stems which is why they are amongst the prettiest of plants.

The single yellow Freesia buds appear during the summer months of June, July & August. consistently opening from one day to the next offering a long-lasting bloom season. These delicate, glowing flowers will fill your garden with a beautiful sweet fragrance which makes them a firm favourite for garden borders or patio containers.

You can plant the tender corms in spring (March or April). They grow best when positioned in full sun and thrive in well-drained soil with plenty of peat and sand. You can plant in drifts or several together for a fuller more impactful effect in garden borders. They need to be lifted and stored before first frosts.
