Freesia Single ‘White’ (20 bulbs)

The Freesia Single ‘White’ bulbs provide funnel-shaped flowers that appear above arching wiry green stems which is why they are amongst the prettiest of plants.

The single white Freesia buds appear during the summer months of June, July & August, consistently opening from one day to the next offering a long-lasting bloom season. These delicate, glowing flowers will fill your garden with a beautiful, sweet fragrance which makes them a firm favourite for garden borders or patio containers.

You can plant the tender corms in spring during March or April into well-drained soil with plenty of peat and sand for best results. They grow best when positioned in full sun, but a sunny, sheltered location where the flowers can be protected from the sun during the hottest part of the day is ideal. You can plant in drifts or several together for a fuller more impactful effect in garden borders. They need to be lifted and stored before first frosts.
