Anthony Waller is fascinated by nature and landscapes, he has had this interest since childhood and although he has had a little formal training in art, his understanding and love of the countryside shines through his work. He is able to capture atmosphere and the charm of light filtering through trees, the sparkle on the water and the fresh smell of an early morning walk in the woods.
Best known for his atmospheric watercolors which are exhibited in galleries around the country. He also produces works in oil, acrylic and photography. With no formal training in the field, Anthony actually started as a fighter pilot in the RAF before discovering his true passion.
He is part of The Wight Studios, which are located on the beautiful and historic Isle of Wight. The in-house team of artists and designers work together to produce distinctive and breath-taking pictures under the collective name of Wight Studios. The artists create images and designs for their exclusive use. All capturing the energy, nostalgia, textures and colours of their surroundings and inspiration.
