Chris Bourne gained a degree from the Berkshire College of Art and went on to work as an art director in a London advertising agency for over a decade. Longing to return to the countryside where he was born and raised, he soon moved to Surrey and decided to become a professional artist. With work represented in many galleries across the UK.

After many years of living his dream, he moved to St. Ives and then to Cornwall and continues to do what he is inspired to do, paint landscapes. With the world constantly changing, he is trying to keep hold of the memories of changing seasons and surroundings.
