The Aquilegia ‘Mixed‘ bulbs will provide you with an array of colours and shades, ranging from whites to reds and yellows to purples. The charming flowers have softly hooked spurs, that nod gracefully from the branching and upright stems, making these an ideal choice for creating a cottage garden. These hardy perennials are a great way of injecting colour into garden borders, pots and containers.
The Aquilegia’s are hardy, robust perennial plants that grow to around 80cm / 32″ in height, and are at their best in late spring and early summer, filling the seasonal gap between the last of the spring bulbs and the first of the summer flowers.
You can plant these between March & April in your garden borders or beds and they will thrive in a moist, well-drained soil in a partial shady position. You will have an array of colours and shades from May to August.
