Amaryllis ‘Red Velvet’ is a stunning red flowering Hippeastrum bulb, more commonly known as amaryllis.
Ideal for brightening up a space at home during winter months. This indoor plant will produce one tall stem with large rich red trumpet-shaped flowers.
This amaryllis will flower over several weeks from January until February.
Easy to care for, simply half fill a pot with Bulb Fibre and moisten. Then place the bulb in the pot and fill around it with more of the compost. Please leave a third of the bulb showing, so don’t cover it completely and make sure it is firmly in place.
Position the amaryllis in a light and warm place indoors and keep compost moist, but not wet. You may need to support the stem as it grows and as the flowers bloom.
