Agapanthus ‘Black Jack’

The Agapanthus ‘Black Jack’ (available in a 2 litre pot) is a versatile award winning plant that will make a great addition to your containers and mixed borders.

Its silky tubular open flower heads appear in a luxurious deep purple, almost black colour, and will offer a longer flowering performance than most, with repeat flowering from midsummer to autumn.

In addition to this, it is drought resistant and heat tolerant, making it the perfect choice for dry sunny borders. It is also frost resistant but may need some protection in the winter months.

This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
