A mix of incredible sizzling hot hues, the magnificent ‘Meteor’ shrub rose from Whartons Roses has sunshine yellow flowers that are flushed coppery red. Forming in a rosette of delicately scented double blooms, this floribunda is a delight for the eyes and the nose.
The 'Meteor' shrub rose will repeat flower throughout the summer season, lasting through to autumn creating a bouquet of blooms to admire. It also has masses of glossy dark green foliage and a bushy upright and compact habit that gives it a neat overall appearance. It has excellent resistance to pests and disease and is easy to grow choice.
This versatile rose is perfect for planting in a range of places such as containers to add colour to patio and balcony areas or beds and borders mixed with other hot flowering blooms. The combination of dazzling flowers and robust and reliable growth, it is unsurprising that this shrub rose was named the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Rose of the Year 2024.
