Gates Gift Card Terms & Conditions

  1. Gates Gift Cards can be used in full or part payment for goods purchased in store at Gates
    Garden Centre, Gates Farm Shop, The Garden Restaurant or The Courtyard Coffee Shop (exclusions apply).
  2. The Gates Gift Card cannot be used in any of the concession outlets within Gates Garden Centre.
  3. The value of purchases will be deducted from the balance on the card. The new balance
    can then be used for future purchases. To check your card balance, please ask in store at
    the Information Desk or the Tills.
  4. Gates Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, used to pay for vouchers or services or to settle an
    account.
  5. No change or refund will be given against the remaining balance.
  6. If any product purchased with a Gates Gift Card is subsequently exchanged for a product of a
    lower value or a refund, any money owing will be added to the remaining balance on the
    card.
  7. This is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
  8. Gates Garden Centre accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged cards. The Gates Gift Card
    will not be replaced nor its value refunded in any of these circumstances.
  9. The Gates Gift Card can be activated with a minimum balance of £10 and a maximum value limit of
    £500.
  10. The card will automatically expire 24 months after the date of purchase and any remaining
    balance will be lost.
  11. The Gates Gift Card can be topped up at any point, whether there is an outstanding balance or not,
    or even if it has expired. On topping up, the new balance, including any outstanding
    balance from the previous purchase, will then be extended for a further 24 months. The
    card will automatically expire 24 months after the top up date and any remaining balance
    will be lost.
  12. The Gates Gift Card remains the property of Gates Garden Centre.
  13. Gates Garden Centre reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions and/or
    withdraw the gift card at any time.
