The ‘Lovestruck’ shrub rose from Whartons Roses, is deserving of its name, producing masses of large, velvety cherry-red flowers throughout its exceptionally long flowering season. In our opinion, this rose is deserving of a prime position in any rose garden and is a star performer which can have up to 20 roses covering each sturdy stem.
The overall silhouette of this rose casts an elegant but compact shape, with gently weeping stems. This makes it the perfect choice for flower beds, but also pots and containers, where you can be sure there won’t be any gaps in the floral display, just masses of healthy blooms.
With its abundance of rich red blooms, healthy growth and elegant shape, it is easy to see how this shrub rose was named Rose of the Year 2018 – the most coveted prize in the rose world.
