Westland Organic Rooting Gel (150ml)

Encourage rooting establishment for cuttings with Westland Rooting Gel.

Made from a blend of pure natural oils, the gel helps cuttings to root and establish, all without the use of synthetic growth hormones or fungicides. Furthermore, unlike liquid and powder formulas, the gel stays in contact with the stem right through the rooting period, prolonging its effectiveness.

Taking a cutting from a parent plant is a great, easy way of growing a new plant and using a hormone based gel such as Westland Rooting Gel will significantly increase the chances of success. The roots will develop quicker and will be of better quality while cuttings will be encouraged to produce new growth.

For the best results, stand soft stem cuttings in water for ½ hour before using the gel (overnight for hard wood cuttings). Dip the end of the cutting in the gel, then insert into a suitable free-draining compost or rooting medium. Cover with glass or polythene and place in a well-lit area, out of direct sunlight.
