A reliably fruiting and self-fertile variety, the hugely popular ‘Victoria’ Plum Tree grows masses of sweet tasting, bright red plums that are perfect for making flavorful jams, preserves and puddings. With a range of ornamental features to admire throughout the seasons, it looks wonderful when combined with the elegant half-standard shape, which has a longer clear stem of approximately 1.35 meters.
In addition to its wonderful fruit, this tree has clusters of ivory white flowers, that create a beautiful and eye-catching display in spring. These blooms are also a great way to attract bees and other pollinators into your garden which has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have added it to their Plants for Pollinators Collection.
This magnificent plum tree is a self-fertile variety that is available on Myrobalan Rootstock. This is a semi-vigorous to vigorous rootstock that will reach an ultimate height of approximately 4.5 meters in 10 years. The rootstock of a tree is a way of controlling the rate of growth and ensures the tree fruits earlier than when grown on its own roots.
