Tulip 'Carnaval de Rio' (10 bulbs)

Plant Tulipa 'Carnaval De Rio' from September until December for delightful, striking flowers with ice white lance shaped petals with vivid red streaks.

These reliable, naturalising flowers sit atop a sturdy stem that can withstand wind and rain, blooming in mid spring. Reaching a height of around 50cm/20" these bulbs are fully hardy throughout all of the UK, creating a stunning display year on year.

For the best visual impact, plant in clusters of at least 10-15 among other spring flowering bulbs for a stunning and vivid display in beds, borders, containers and rock gardens. These tulips will also excel as cut flowers.

'Carnaval de Rio' tulips will grow in a wide range of different soils, acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage, preferably in a position of full sun or partial shade. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 15cm/6" and a spread of 10cm/4".
