Tulip linifolia 'Bright Gem' (Batalinii Group) is a low-growing, creamy, buttercup-yellow flower with flushes of pinky-orange apricot, sitting on top of a silvery-green stem and narrow, grey-green foliage.
Thanks to its excellent performance and reliable durability, this variety was awarded the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society.
With blooms emerging from early to late spring, these bulbous perennials will grow to a compact height of around 12cm/5".
They are perfect for growing in patio containers and pots, on terraces and balconies, along sunny borders, or for use as cut flowers in floral arrangements. 'Bright Gem' is brilliant at naturalising and producing larger clusters year on year. These resilient bulbs can be lifted out of the soil and stored after they've flowered, or they can be left in the soil to return the following year.
