Wonderful deep wine-red flowers edged with a border of brilliant white grow from Tulip Triumph ‘Spitsbergen’ bulbs. Perfect for creating eye-catching displays of contrasting colour, these flowers have real wow-factor.
Each flower stands on tall, upright stems and the petals have a subtle pointed edge that is accentuated by its contrast of colours. Once the flowers unfurl there is a lemon-yellow centre that draws the eye in to admire the blooms more closely.
Mix this tulip with an array of other blooms such as daffodils, Forget-Me-Nots, white or pink tulips for an uplifting display, or lean into the deep colour pallet and try it alongside one of the darkest purple tulips, ‘Queen of Night’.
Robust and reliable to grow, these blooms can be planted in any moist but free draining soil, in a bright and sunny spot. Ideally find a position that is sheltered to protect the blooms from harsh winds and keep the flowers looking at their best for longer.
