Vibrant red and buttery yellow flowers grow from the award-winning Tulip ‘Tinka’ bulbs. Growing to just 25cm tall, this delightful and elegant display of colour is a wonderful addition to the spring-time garden.
With fluted petals, it has a graceful shape that is highlighted by its brightly coloured flowers. With vivid red outer petals framed by a yellow edge, the blooms open to buttery yellow with dark purple stamens at its centre.
Plant these tulip bulbs in mixed beds and borders or grow them in a container or pot to add interest and colour to patio and seating areas. They prefer moist but very free draining soil, so also make an excellent addition to gravelled areas along walkways or rock gardens. They also work well as underplanting for a range of shrubs, adding colour and interest that returns year after year.
