The Tom Chambers Oakwell Handcrafted Nest Box with 28mm Entrance is a classic looking wooden bird house with a genuine slate roof.

Crafted from responsibly sourced timber and treated with an environmentally friendly wood preservative for all weather protection.

Perfect for nesting members of the Tit or Sparrow families, it will look lovely in any garden setting. The slate roof provides a canopy to keep the nest box dry. The small 28mm entrance will entice small wild birds to nest and with the entrance being high up, it will keep draughts out too. The high timber walls will give protection and keep the occupying birds insulated in colder weather.

The genuine slate roof can be removed to make it easy to clean. A pre-drilled hanging hole is provided on the back of the nest box, so it can be hung up high.

The best place to locate this nest box is in a safe sheltered location away from prevailing winds, strong sunlight, rain and at least 1.5 metres above the ground. It is important to keep the Tom Chambers Oakwell Nest Box up high out of reach of predators too.
