The nest box should be located in a sheltered spot away from prevailing winds, rain and strong sunlight. It should also be up high in area away from cats as the nest box may be used for roosting and the raising of young birds.

The green timber roof can be unscrewed for easy cleaning access. The Tom Chambers Cosy Handcrafted Nest Box may be used as a roosting site during the winter months, so be careful not to disturb birds that are occupying the nest box.
