Thompson & Morgan Chempak Formula No. 8 Low Nitrogen Feed

This Thompson & Morgan Chempak Formula No. 8 Low Nitrogen Feed is a 750g box of professional standard multipurpose summer feed for Heathers, Conifers and building up vegetables.

With a lower nitrogen content and extra phosphate and potash, this feed is perfect to mature growth and encourage a firm finish to Onions Leeks and other vegetables.

It also makes a great general maintenance feed for established Heathers, Conifers and other plants where lush top-growth is not desired.

Ideal for Alpines, Bonsai, Cacti, Conifers, Delphiniums, Heathers, Lawns, Orchids, Sweet Peas, Onions, Leeks and Runner Beans

How to use

Normal strength use:

• Dissolve 2 level measures in 5 litres of water and apply to plants every 7 to 10 days, ensuring soil is well moistened

For more frequent use:

• Experts prefer to use dilute feed more often, dissolving 1 measure into 10 gallons of water at each watering

When to use

• Throughout the growing season

Professional tips:

• For Onions, Leeks, Carrots, parsnips and celery: use weekly from July onwards
• Lawns: For an autumn feed, dissolve 114g in 10 litres of water and apply to 13.5 m sq. from August onwards
• Roses, trees and shrubs: After dormancy, feed 2 or 3 times to encourage early growth
• Ericaceous Plants: Use on any established lime-hating plants like Azolea, Rhododendron, and Camellia - The trace elements will help prefent and cure cholorosis (yellowing of leaves)
