The Sorbus vilmorinii Tree is a beautiful variety of Rowan Tree with wonderful draping pinnate olive-green leaves that sway in the breeze and delightful creamy white flowers. Its soft spring hues gradually transform into fiery autumnal shades, creating a final flourish before winter. The foliage turns crimson and is coupled with its red berries that gradually fade to shades of pink and almost pure white in winter.
This Rowan Tree is a great choice for smaller spaces, as well as larger gardens. With its broadly upright growth it doesn’t overpower but it also looks magnificent planted in clusters to enhance larger spaces.
This low maintenance tree requires minimal pruning and will grow in almost any soil type. It has received the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit for its reliability and consistency in the garden.
