Sorbus cashmiriana Tree, also known as a Kashmir Rowan, has a range of wonderful ornamental features that add interest to admire throughout the seasons.
In spring the branches are covered with clusters of scented pink tinted creamy white flowers that look beautiful and will attract bees and pollinators into your garden. As the flowers fade, the green foliage and the airy canopy make it a great choice for underplanting to further enhance the beautiful, rounded bushy shape of the tree’s crown.
In autumn the beautiful white berries form into hanging clusters across the tree and last into the winter months.
The Kashmir Rowan Tree is tough and tolerant and will grow in most areas, even coastal sites. It has received the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit in recognition of its consistent and healthy growth.
