The Sorbus aucuparia Tree, or Rowan, is an elegant tree that can live for up to 200 years. With its pinnate green leaves, clusters of delicate white flowers and scarlet berries, this tree has a range of ornamental qualities that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
Wonderful upright growth gradually spreads as the tree matures, making it a great choice for adding a central focal point and structure to outdoor spaces, as well as something to admire all year round.
The creamy white clusters of flowers are followed by a mass of vibrant scarlet berries that gently drape from the tree. The brightness of the berries is contrasted by the silvery, smooth bark on the trunk and branches. Before dropping its leaves for winter, this tree transforms into rich golden and crimson hues for its final autumnal flourish.
