Prized for its magnificent clusters of white berries that appear in autumn and last through winter, Skimmia japonica ‘O’ Berries White’ is a worthy addition to any garden. Ideal for growing in smaller spaces or for admiring at the centre of a larger display, it combines glossy foliage and compact growth with copious clusters of white berries.
In addition to its wonderful ornamental features, this Skimmia will also flourish in a range of low-maintenance spaces, such woodland areas and shadier spaces with minimal care. It is a slow growing shrub that will retain its neat and compact shape so is a wonderful addition to smaller gardens.
As this is a female variety of Skimmia, it will require a male cultivar to be present to ensure a display of berries. Once planted in the right position in your garden, this Skimmia will add ornamental appeal and structure that lasts for years to come.
