A mound forming succulent perennial, Sedum ‘Lemon Ball’ has incredible chartreuse coloured foliage and delightful, bright yellow star-like flowers. Fast-growing and vibrant throughout the year, it adds sensational citrus hues to a range of spaces around the garden.
With an excellent tolerance of drought, it makes a wonderful addition to alpine-themed displays and rockeries, adding attractive zesty hues. It is also ideal for softening garden edges or for filling gaps in sunny flowerbeds as the striking foliage forms a dense mat that looks great, while also reducing weed growth. It will also create an impactful display planted in a container, with it spilling over the edges and cascading down the sides.
Known for being easy and reliable to grow, Sedum ‘Lemon Ball’ will flourish in a sunny position, in rocky or sandy soil that drains well. It is hardy but may need some protection during very cold winters, so will grow best in a sheltered position in the garden.
