Sarcococca saligna (Willow-leaf Sweet Box) is an evergreen, compact, suckering, winter flowering shrub that is easy to grow in wide ranging conditions.

Often referred to as 'Christmas box' or 'Willow-leaf sweet box', Sarcococcas are an ideal choice for flower arranging and winter gardens, producing tapering, lance-shaped, glossy leaves on upright arching stems. This foliage is accompanied small greenish-white, slightly-scented flowers throughout winter and by purple berries in the summer.

Plant your Sarcococca in any well drained, fertile soil in a position of full or partial shade. This evergreen shrub is ideal for the front of a garden border or in a pot on the patio.
