Sarcococca ruscifolia 'Dragon Gate' is an award winning, winter flowering shrub that is hardy and grows well in shade.

Commonly known as 'Christmas Box' or 'Sweet Box', Sarcococcas are a popular choice for flower arranging and winter gardens with 'Dragon Gate' producing many small, scented, cream flowers in the winter. These flowers are followed up by red berries in the summer alongside small evergreen, glossy, dark green leaves.

Plant your Sarcococca in any well drained, fertile soil in a position of full or partial shade. This evergreen shrub is ideal for the front of a garden border or in a pot on the patio.
