Sarcococca ‘Orientalis’ is available in a 3-litre pot and is a charming variety of evergreen shrub that comes into its own in the winter garden. Flowering from December through to February, it produces an abundance of delightful white, sometimes pink tinged flowers, that have a highly scented honey-like fragrance.
Also known as Oriental Sweet Box or Chinese Sweet Box, this variety of Sarcococca combines lustrous glossy, wide green foliage that highlights the vibrancy of the bright flowers throughout the winter months. Wonderful for adding year-round interest to your garden, this shrub really comes into its own during the winter months when many plants are dormant.
Plant this delightful shrub in a range of low maintenance spaces from wildlife gardens and informal areas or create low level hedging or screens. It will also thrive planted in a container adding winter interest to a range of spaces.
