Salvia 'Velocity Blue' (2-Litre Pot)

Salvia 'Velocity Blue' is a compact, upright, deciduous perennial with spikes of dark blue flowers. Flowering from summer until early autumn, it is usually grown as an annual with lance shaped leaves.

These beautiful flowers are best suited among beds and borders in an informal garden and will attract scores of bees and other pollinating insects.

Growing to an eventual height of approximately 40 cm and a spread of 30cm, this versatile plant is hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK. Plant in a position of full, into moist but well drained, neutral, acidic or alkaline soil. Watch for slugs and remove faded flower spikes to encourage repeat flowering.
